Joe
has nearly 40 years of consistently successful professional sales and sales
management experience in a variety of industries including industrial manufacturing,
advertising, office equipment and internet development. He brings to his
position expertise encompassing pro-active business development strategies,
sales culture creation and development, enhancement and effective use of sales
tools, analysis and identification of shortfalls in sales goals and effective
coaching techniques.
Joe began his career in 1968 with
IBM Corporation in Baltimore
Maryland. He was recruited four
years later by Xerox Corporation where he quickly earned promotions to sales
training, sales manager, branch manager and Regional Manager. Upon leaving
Xerox, Joe served in various
management positions including Regional Manager for NBI Corporation and Vice
President of Sales for Merrill Lynch CRED.
In 1988 he founded Creative Solutions International, an international business
consulting firm headquartered in Atlanta,
Georgia. In
addition to authoring the book "Sales Foundations - The Manual", he
developed workshops for sales, negotiation, telemarketing, strategic
presentations and business planning. His firm conducted these workshops
throughout the United States, Germany, Italy, Belgium,
South America, Mexico and England.
In 2002 he was recruited by one of his client's Stratix Corporation as General Manager. Under his direction Stratix grew from a $12 million a year company to over $55 million in two and one-half years.
Joe graduated with a degree in
marketing from the University
of Baltimore.
